Genral Info: The name is derived from the German "quarz" of uncertain origin. It was called "krystallos" by the Greeks, but this later became the generic term for crystal.

This stone was cut with a scolluped edge and groved back. It is a commercialy cut stone, it was cut by the SM Gems Group, Hong Kong. The same stone cut in citrine can be found here.
