| The rough for these cabochons was found in the Mojave desert of California. It often shows spider web like patterns in black. The black is usually manganese oxide. Rhodonite is a lilicate and hsas much higer stability than rhodochrosite (a carbonate).
The first three stones are doublets with thin agate backs, and the third is entirely rhodonite.
