JPEG format saves three image files, they are each grayscale images (one 8 bit value per pixel), but each is assigned a color value, one for RED, one for GREEN and one for BLUE>

These images were false colored with RED, GREEN and BLUE values as they would appear if separated from the final RGB image. Only three sets of intensity values are actually saved as each set is defined to one of the three colors.



GIF File made up of a list of values that refers to a LOOKUP TABLE. Max of 256 colors.


Raw Format - 16 bit grayscale image that is auto indexed to the Bayer pattern.
